Day two of Soxperience 2011 was incredible, I have knitted a fair share of heels and toes, but I learned so much today, I can't wait to knit my next sock! Wendy is such a patient teacher, which is great for those of us, like me just learning Judy's Magic Cast-on. But now i have the hang of it and on my way.
After class today, Anna and I explored the island a little more, went to the beach and saw the ponies out on Assateague Wild Life Refuge. So much fun! We didn't have any rain today but it was a little chilly. According to Anna the water is quite cold!
(I will be able to upload pictures once I get home.)
Tonight we have homework, to turn the heel and be prepared to do the color work on our mini sock! That is the best kind of homework.
Tonight we all went to dinner at a local restaurant together, and had some wonderful seafood and wonderful conversations!
Time to go do my homework! More tomorrow!
