Busier than one armed shearer at at shearing contest....

Okay I made that up, but one armed paper hanger just didn't work for me.
So this week has been a tad busy and I am just now sitting down at my laptop for the first time in five days!

I'm still working that sweater vest, it is endless apparently. And a new sock as part of a KAL with the Tuesday knitting group. But I wanted to share a few more pictures from last weekend with you.
Here are some wonderful examples of the architecture on the island.

What a wonderful bookstore!

The bookstore was so charming, the owners were awesome, so friendly and fun!  They have a knitting night and a board game night!

How cold is the ocean Anna?

Really cold!

This is the library, you know I had to get a picture of the library!

I didn't see any sheep on the island. We did see the wild ponies, but they were too far away to get a picture such a beautiful place and so many good places to enjoy seafood. I think my two favorites were AJ's, Brandon our server was too funny! And Bill's Seafood. Bill's had some really awesome oysters and the best crab soup. Although the crab soup at AJ's was perfectly wonderful! Not sure I'd want to be there when the island was overrun with tourist, it was really nice to be there as businesses were opening up and the crowds were still small. But it is worth the drive just for the yarn shop! Carodan Farms, the folks there are so friendly and knowledgeable! I'd drive the 2 1/2 hours just to shop there.

Well this week promises to be a repeat of last week, so in case I do not get to get back to the laptop again, have a great week and I'll talk to you again soon!
