When Life....

gives you a cold yukky weekend...make yarn! We have gone from 70 something degree weather to cold, wind, rain this weekend. From having windows open to having the heat one. But that is okay, because that just provides an opportunity for a little spinning to get done.

A little hand dyed cotton candy blue...

can be spun into something really yummy....

This is just the first of the singles, I'm planning to spin another color to ply with blue to make something super fun. It will be available in the shop. I have some lavender yarn there now. Check it out. Shop Stitches and Stories

The roving I use is from a farm here in Virginia, hand dyed by me, hand spun by me on my Ashford Kiwi. I believe in supporting my local farmers and businesses so whenever possible items in my shop will be supplied or created by a local or regional artisans.

Back to the wheel....
