What More Could I ask for?

So we are off to a roaring start in 2010, I have yet to re-attempt the gloves. I have decided the solution to the problem is to go up a needle size. I knit tight anyway and swatching with the same size but more cast on stitches isn't giving me the correct gauge. I also have wide, square hands so allowances have to be made for patterns that are geared towards the more narrow traditional "female" hand I suppose.

But with things at the office back to full swing, it has brought out the crazies, it is as if there is a full moon or something. I should have suspected things would be so, when the yarn started acting up this weekend. If my sweet lovable yarn can start going crazy on me, then I should have gone to work my first day in 2010 and kept my office door closed! Wow!

No matter, I find that two pointy sticks can solve both problems, unruly yarn and in extreme cases unruly people! Muggles (non-knitting folk) beware! I have two sharped bamboo sticks and am not afraid to use them in self defense!

In more peaceful news, the afghan is coming along nicely and a new scarf is really shaping up. Pictures to follow in the next post.

Well what are you waiting for, go have some fiber fun!

P.S. I was just kidding about the sharpened bamboo sticks!
