Lost My Mojo

Well, a project that should take only a weekend to complete is taking me a week! I was making some socks and didn’t like the way the yarn was acting, so I frogged it and the yarn seems much happier being melded into wrist warmers rather than socks. I knit up a practice warmer, not having made them before in a matter of hours last weekend. I changed the needle size and decided I liked the pattern and the speed of it. So it has taken me since last weekend yesterday (Thursday) to complete just one of them! I started the second one last night but I’m only about 10 rows into it. I haven’t felt much like knitting this week for some reason. I was on the verge of making a doctors appointment because there must have been something terribly wrong with me, not to want to knit. But, it seems to have cured itself yesterday.
I suppose that part of the problem could be that I decided to re-read the Harry Potter series and this week have read the first three books. I tried knitting and reading at the same time but it didn’t work out so well. So I am committed to getting this wrist warmer finished.

This little walk through literary wonderland as also put me behind schedule for my Gift a long not to mention I now have no socks on the needles for my sock KAL!
I am off to a great start for the new year!

So the goal this weekend is to finish the wrist warmer mate, and cast on some socks and hopefully a shawl as well.

Happy Knitting!

Well, you didn't lose your Mojo, it just shifted to something else for a few days! There you go... that sounds better doesn't it?

I'm sure you'll be back on track in no time.
